I develop and collaborate on social projects—funded either through grassroots crowdfunding, public institutions, or private companies—that focus on cultivation, plants, ecosystems, and the care of the land and people of all ages.

Campo dei Miracoli
I designed the social garden Campo dei Miracoli and coordinated the activities carried out by a group of 30 women from the local community in Trebaseleghe (PD), within the rural landscape of the Venetian spring waters, in a beautiful campo chiuso surrounded by lush, dense hedges. The project, led by the Mater Femina association, was funded by Itas Solidale and promoted by Produzioni dal Basso through a crowdfunding campaign. In addition to horticultural activities, the training program also included women’s empowerment initiatives.

Ragazze in campo
Within the women’s empowerment and horticulture project Ragazze in Campo, funded by the Veneto Region, I was responsible for the design and management of five vegetable gardens in five different locations across the provinces of Treviso, Padua, and Venice. These gardens were cultivated by girls aged 13 to 24, supported by a group of volunteer women. The harvests from the gardens were donated to those in need through the Empori di SolidarietĂ present in the various territories.

Urban Biodiversity
The Urban Biodiversity project, carried out at the Liceo Scientifico Leonardo da Vinci in Treviso and coordinated by high school teacher Michele Zanata, is funded through NRRP funds within the STEM framework.
Together with my colleague, wildlife expert Arianna Spada (Giardini Econaturalistici), we designed and implemented a pathway to explore the surprising and unexpected urban biodiversity that finds space in tree-lined avenues, hedges, gardens, and even in the cracks of sidewalks or on the city’s boundary walls. The workshops with students focus on understanding ecological networks, corridors, and infrastructures, plant associations, and Naturalistic Planting Design. Through hands-on fieldwork, they practice fauna monitoring using trapping and camera trapping techniques while also engaging in teamwork. The outcome of the training program is a proposal—developed using visual arts techniques—for the aesthetic and ecological improvement of a green area in the city, enhancing its natural features and biodiversity.

L’Orto di Leonardo
The L’Orto di Leonardo project, developed at the Liceo Scientifico Leonardo da Vinci in Treviso and funded through NRRP funds within the STEM framework, focuses on the agronomic care of the Parco della Biodiversità , a valuable natural area owned by the Municipality of Treviso and managed by APS Cambiamenti. The Parco della Biodiversità , located next to Liceo Da Vinci, hosts precious habitats. In the workshops, coordinated by high school teacher Michele Zanata, I address topics related to agroecology and soil fertility. Meanwhile, in the Parco della Biodiversità , together with the students, we explore soil, compost and set up a true agroecological garden. Our activities include preparing seedbeds, fertilizing with natural organic amendments, sowing and transplanting seasonal vegetables, and caring for the plants using self-produced phytotherapeutic preparations.
